After a brain injury, you may experience changes in your relationship to the people and activities around you.

Examples include (this is not a complete list):

  • Being more sensitive to sounds, movement, the activities of people around you
  • Taking more time to understand what others say
  • Forgetting what you are saying; going off on tangents
  • Getting very tired during daily activities
  • Having problems speaking or understanding when you are tired
